The thought of being an introvert entrepreneur in an extrovert world, can be daunting at times, to say the least. Sometimes, the thought of networking causes a noticeable cringe when compared to sitting home and.. well.. blogging :0)

BusinessPundit.com has a great article on Networking for Introverts. And by great I mean it is one of the best articles I have ever read, in any discipline. Below, you will find some of the points I liked, but I HIGHLY encourage you to visit Rob’s site and check out the writing.

  • Networking is an investment - how easy is it to solve a problem in one or two calls, rather than fifteen?
  • Do cool things - “Introverts don’t typically like to talk about themselves, we like to talk about ideas.” –> How absolutely true < --
  • Analyze the results - Introverts are usually analytical. Use it. What is working? What isn’t?
  • Find the key nodes in a network - Find to most networked person, and concentrate on them. They will spread your success.

Thanks also to problogger for speedlinking to it!  The introvert networking for bloggers version can be found at lexblog.
