One of my favorite things to do is get in a person’s head. That is one of the reasons I love to read so much (and subsequently, blog), because it allows a deeper look into the way a person’s mind works.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit a local art shop because my mom wanted me to pick out a frame for a print she ordered. It was really one of the first times I had been in an art shop, and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. You see, not only in books, but paintings as well, you can see the individual who is behind the masterpiece.

To take someone at face value is one thing. But to really understand why a person loves what they do is a whole different ball game. And of all the paintings I had a chance to peruse yesterday, this is my favorite. Done by a local guy by the name of Jack Paluh.
