Microsoft Vista is a pretty operating system. No doubt about it. It is also highly functional when used in conjunction with Office 2007.
Being a MS developer (more a moonlighter) I appreciate things that work well. The downside to open source is that you have a lot of bugs here and there. The bugs might be fixed in the long term, but I need something to work now!
In the Overclock.net forum, I noticed a site dedicated to tweaking Vista. There is everything from Performance monintoring gadgets to increasing your IE7 downloads.
Check it out if your rig is running a bit slower after the upgrade. Not saying that the tweaks will help 100%, but at least it’s better than nothing!
