Makeuseof.com has a nice list of Firefox add-ons that solve common problems.
To be sure, no browser is perfect. I prefer Mozilla Firefox because I have been using it for about 6 years now and can completely customize it as I see fit.   Needing to handle all sort of SEO tasks and web publishing, I have found extensions that I like and ones I truly don’t.
Some of the problems Firefox users experience tend to be outside the realm of web browsers, but the functionality can be easily added.
Examples include:
- File Transfer - Allpeers
- Download Accelerator - DownThemAll
- FTP Client - FireFTP (my favorite extension ever)
- Online File Storage - GSpace
- SEO - SEOQuake
Others include Google Reader Notifier and Adsense Notifier. Those are less of the realm of practicality, and more in the area of fuctionality, though.
