It’s been a while, I know.  I have been off in the world of freelancing, firefighting, and brokenness for the last couple months..  But I have made my comeback, and all is well :0)

I have to tell you, the more I get into bidding on jobs for my company, the more I am convinced that freelancers have it made.  I have been using rentacoder for the past month or so, and have made an absolute killing on it.  You find the niche that you want to work in, bid on the jobs that interest you, and go from there.

Sure, you have to start off with small bids and do some shit work for next to nothing, but make sure you get a good rating!  Once that happens, and people know that they can trust you, it is only a matter of time before you can start to make some money.

What happened with us was there wasn’t much going on in my area as far as website builds and search engine optimization, so I was forced to go looking for it.  Now, I bid on a job that we can accomplish, manage it, and that’s it!  It is a great process.
