Web Worker Daily has a great writeup on travel sites.  Of the site mentioned, I have used Kayak.com pretty extensively to book some of my business travels, and was always very pleased by the service.

Kayak is a simple, no nonsense, ad free way to find flights, cars, cruises, and so on.  They search over 100 travel sites for cheap fares and let you filter through them.  Once you decide, you just follow the link and buy directly from the airline or agency!  It also lets you campare results to priceline, expedia, and so on (in a Progressive.com fashion).

From the WWD article, Mobissimo is noted for providing the best international travel deals out there.  I haven’t done much international traveling, but if any of you have experience - let me know!
